What is the laser graded?

The safety level of the laser is classified according to the degree of damage to the human body caused by the laser generated by the laser. Lasers are classified from CLASS I (no damage) to CLASS IV lasers.
1. Level 1 Laser is a low-energy laser device that is very safe and avoids all electrostatic hazards without biological hazards. The following are several application areas for CLASS I lasers: laser printers, CD players, CD ROM devices, geological survey equipment, and experimental analysis equipment. The CLASS I laser does not cause damage to the human body or skin under any conditions. When using a CLASS I laser device, no additional safety equipment is required.
2. The secondary laser is also a low-energy laser (power < 1 mW), but the laser can damage the human eye. Some examples of Class II laser applications: laser pointers, sighting devices, and some distance measuring devices. Avoid looking directly at the CLASS II laser and not aiming the CLASS II laser at anyone's eyes. In addition, avoid using a telescope to view the CLASS II laser. In fact, if a CLASS II laser is shining into your eyes, you should immediately turn your head to the side, or immediately close your eyes to prevent laser damage.
The Class III Class A laser is a strong laser and is a continuous laser wave. It is a medium-energy emitting device and the scattering of light is harmful to the human body. For products equipped with Class III a lasers, the harmful distance in the open area is 1000m (3300ft). Different countries have different regulations on the use of laser products. At present, many foreign countries do not allow tertiary laser products to be used in cities, and diffuse scattering barrier materials are used to block the laser beam from passing through the restricted area (harmful distance*), and The laser beam must be stopped when someone is active. Generally refers to power 1-5mW
3. Class III Class B Laser The laser is a medium power laser. Not only is direct vision prohibited, but the scattered laser can also cause damage to the human body. Whenever you operate in the laser control area, you must wear isolation suits and special protective eyewear. It is forbidden to use in areas with human activities. Generally refers to power 5-500mW
4. The four-level laser is a high power laser. The following is an example of the use of a Class IV laser, which is machined by fiber cutting. Class IV lasers are very dangerous and can cause fires. Generally refers to power >500mW.
