We updates ISO14001 Certification for our Industrial Laser Distance Sensor recently, the ISO 14001 has wide applicability of standards:
The ISO14001 series of standards have a wide range of applications, covering all management levels of the enterprise. Life cycle assessment methods (ISO14040-ISO14049) can be used in the design and development of products and packaging, and the optimization of green products; environmental performance (behavior) evaluation (ISO14030-ISO14039) It can be used for corporate decision-making to select solutions that are beneficial to the environment and market risks; environmental labels (ISO14020-ISO14029) play a role in improving corporate public relations, establishing corporate environmental images, and promoting market development; and environmental management system standards (ISO14001-ISO14009) enter the deep-level management of the enterprise and directly affect on-site operation and control, clarify the responsibilities and division of labor of employees, and comprehensively improve their environmental awareness. Therefore, the ISO14000 series of standards actually constitute the environmental management framework of the entire enterprise.

In 1996, ISO issued the first five standards related to environmental management systems and their audits, which attracted great attention from governments and industries. By the end of 1997, only one year after the standard was promulgated, 1491 companies worldwide had passed ISO14001 certification; by the end of 1998, this number had reached 5,017; by the end of 1999, more than 10,000 companies had passed the certification.
The Chinese government attaches great importance to environmental management. The five standards that have been promulgated have all been transformed into national standards.
