Lidar based on pulse method uses the speed of light ranging. A laser emitter emits laser pulses, and a timer records the launch time; The pulse is received by the receiver after being reflected by the object, and the timer records the receiving time; Multiply the time difference by the speed of light to get twice the distance. This method is used to measure the distance between radar and obstacle avoidance. That`s how our Laser Distance Sensor works.
