As for laser measuring Module, resolution and accuracy are two very important data. Sometimes users confuse resolution and precision. They think resolution and accuracy are the same. In fact, resolution and accuracy are two different data of Laser Distance Sensor. Resolution is not accuracy.
In order to understand the difference between accuracy and resolution better, I will give you an example.
Currently, our M703A laser distance board can measure 40m with high accuracy 1mm, small size: 45*25*12mm. But M703A sensor has different version.
The first version is with 1mm precision and 1mm resolution, for example: 1235mm
