1.3 Ranging Capability

In an environment with visibility ≥ 15 km and relative humidity ≤ 60%, when targeting a 2.3 m × 4.6 m target board (reflectivity 0.3) or an equivalent target, the laser rangefinder's ranging capability exceeds 12,000 m, with a measurement success rate greater than 98%. This serves as a key indicator for determining whether the laser rangefinder meets qualification standards. Figure 4 illustrates the theoretical relationship between the laser rangefinder's ranging distance and visibility.
